Yes im drunk. And you're beautiful,

and tomorrow morning I'll be sober, but you'll still be beautiful

Its 12.16am. I should be asleep because I'm getting up early tomorrow. But about 10 minutes and 18 seconds ago, I decided I just wasn't ready for bed yet, even though I was a bit tired, I just wanted to stay up, just for 15 minutes more. I don't have the Internet at this point, maybe my bedroom is just too high up for the free signals. So I will paste this into blogger later, I guess theres really no reason for me to have added that, but heh, there you go, its there anyway. Iv played about 200 games of spider solitaire in the last week or so, and I'm bored of the other games, so I decided, just for my last 15 minutes, to watch some movie clippets.

First I had a go at the spongebob squarepants movie that I downloaded months ago, but I didn't realise till just a few weeks ago, the entire thing is in German. I thought it might be a laugh watching it for a bit though, And the intro in German is pretty damn amusing, but Its also pretty scary, German seems to me to sound really stern, as if they're just talking in capitals all the time, maybe it was just the film. It was funny though, but then I gave in and figured I didn't really want to watch it once it was a few minutes in. I don't want to watch "Les Chansons D'Amour" , because like a tool, the version I downloaded was obviously En Francais, but there was no subtitles, and there's no chance I could amble my way through it, when I only know about 10 french words. (Though a few weeks ago I decided I'm gonna watch the entire thing anyway, so I can pretend to be a bit cultured, and to see how much of the plot I could grasp without understanding the words) So I didn't want to/couldn't watch that, but I did really want a Garrel fix, so the next natural choice was The Dreamers.
So here I am, 10 minutes 18 seconds in, and it hit me how much I just fucking love it. Its so fucking weird, but its so beautiful as well, the scenes, cinematography, just everything. And I know there's loads more about it that I haven't "got" yet.
I remember when I started media studies in college, and one of the two media teachers saying that after taking the course "you wont ever be able to watch a film without dissecting it" cause you'll just notice and pick at all the little things you never noticed before. And he was right (I always notice when they cross the 180 degree line) But mainly I'm glad, cause finding all those little things, they're just little things that make you love whatever film your watching all the more.

Whatimneanersay is, I just am in love with this film, I love the way they cross cut it with all those old movie clips, and I'm going to love it even more when i actually watch all the films they've took the clips from. And I hope one day I'm as cool as Isabelle. (but not as fucked up)

So I wondered if this is my favourite film now. Its always been Edward scissorhands, for years. I don't know what my favourite, band, song, food, colour, drink, pair of shoes, breed of dog, time of day is, but I was always sure of Edward scissorhands, the Danny Elfman music, the pastel houses, the cars all leaving at the same time each day, the quidnunk neighbours, Edward just as a sweet character, the bittersweet ending. the overall magical feel, and iv loved it from the the first time I saw it. So its weird that it might not be my favourite anymore. But just a few minute of the dreamers and It completely changes my mind. Maybe its the streets of Paris that are making me fall in love with it, maybe if I went there and found out its not as good as I imagined, then I'd change my mind I don't know. Maybe its Louis and Eva that do it, maybe its Isabelle and Theo, and their fucking cool Frenchness, and the awkwardness of Matthew. A combination of all of the above i suppose.
Ahhhhh

long time, valentine

Hey, long time no blog! I said before I'd come back and explain, and the explanation is this: My mam cancelled our Internet, well the whole Internet/TV/phone dealie. Which is fair enough really, cause the TV channels were all shit apart from the odd one or two, and just generally its not worth the money. It didn't bother me too much cause I hardly used the phone anyway, but it was a bit annoying to lose the Internet. Anyway, luckily for me, I can get back on the odd time thanks to who ever it is in my street, (or the vicinity I guess) that has unsecured wireless Internet. I'm a bit nervous about it in case they know, (or find out) that I'm stealing their Internet, but then i figured, if they knew then they'd probably block me, or i dunno, secure their service or whatever. So i dont know if they know, but i do feel kind of guilty about it. Maybe its someone who knows but who's just being dead kind.
Anywayy, yeah, blah blah. That's why i haven't been on here in ages. I don't really have any updates to make except this one.

Someone sent me roses on valentines day. 12 red roses, in a massive bouquet with a big ribbon around. They were really beautiful. There was no name on the card, just a sort of cryptic Edgar Allen Poe quote. My mam said the quote was a bit deep, my friend thought it was a bit creepy and stalkerish, but me, being the gigantic soppy bastard that I am, kind of melted a bit inside.

I was upstairs in bed when they arrived, i wasn't asleep, i was just watching a film. But consequently I didn't hear the door, I thought briefly that I did, but when I muted the sound, I didn't hear anything again so I just figured I was imagining it, and went back to whatever I was watching. Then about 10 minutes later, my mam who'd been in her room as well, shouted me, then she came in my room with one of those things they put through the door when they try to deliver a parcel and your not home. It said it was from interflora, and that they'd left my delivery with next door. So I was a bit miffed at this point, obviously someone had sent me flowers, but I kind of just sat gaping at the card for five minutes before I could really do anything. Anyway, I waited a while before I went to collect them, but then when I did, the neighbours had gone out, D'oh. Then about half an hour later they must have came back, cause the nice middle aged guy brought them to the door, joking "should i get down on one knee?" as he passed me them. I mean, I knew i was getting flowers, but I definitely didn't expect flowers of that magnitude. I was just completely taken aback when I actually seen them.

So now there's this. Figuring out a way to find out who sent me them. I decided at the start that I would leave it a while, a few weeks, before I tried to find out. Because I kind of liked the mystique, it was a bit annoying sometimes, but mostly I liked not knowing. I want to find out now though, cause its been long enough and it will just annoy me forever now if i never find out who it was. So in my sleuthing, I've concluded there are only 3 guys who I know for sure have my address/know where I live. That said, although that's 3 suspects, I really cant imagine any one of those would be the one who sent me roses. So I'm back to where I started. Maybe its someone who I haven't even thought about, who's just slipped through. But I don't even have that many male friends really (or even female ones for that matter!) And also I haven't lived in this house for very long, since the start of September I think, so that gets rid of the chance of it being someone who's lived near me for ages.It was such a gorgeous thing, but now I need to know who it was. Maybe one of the reasons I liked not knowing, was because I might have found out they were from someone who I don't feel the same way about, and now I'll have to have the awkward "I'm really sorry but I don't like you that way" talk, which isn't nice for either party, but might need to be done. On the other hand, they could be from someone I really like. So I definitely need to know, because either way, I guess it needs confronting.

At first, the idea of someone sending them as just a really nice gesture, just as something nice to do, to make me smile, cause I'd mentioned that I'd never received a valentines gift before, just didn't seem viable in my mind, cause if you seen the roses, you'd know they weren't just roses to raise a smile and make you feel good. You don't send roses like that unless you really mean it. And I stuck to that theory for a while, and I still 90% believe it, but, being a Libra, I'm reconsidering a little bit. Then again, just writing that out, I realise yeah, generally I'm still sticking with that, but i guess I can still never really know if that's just what they were. Phew!

Ok, nearly done. I just wanted to add two more things, First thing, if whoever sent me the roses is reading this, then, please, please, let me know who you are. Even just a clue! For me? Please? Send me an email, send me a text, send me a postcard, send me a whole book of Edgar Allen Poe quotes, just, get in touch, before my head explodes.
Second thing, about the last blog I wrote before the last one, the one where I signed out by saying boxes of chocolates and teddybears and roses, "and all that tacky crap"
Well, I guess I should really apologize to the mystery person who sent me such lovely flowers, I take back that I think they're tacky. I didn't even realise I'd said that until my friend pointed it out, "err didn't you say in your blog that roses were tacky?"
I cant really describe what I meant without going into another massive long paragraph, I guess I just meant what the inside of card shops look like a week before valentines, was tacky. When I worked in Card Factory last valentines, my heart broke a little more with every giant card that came through my till, I was gutted that someone would give something so horrible to someone they actually love. Anyway, in conclusion, I don't think roses are tacky, unless they're made of plastic. Right, that about covers it all. Note to self, make shorter blogs next time.

Carrion

I have come back to finish the previous. I didnt like doing it in sections before, it was weird. Im gonna have to just keep writing and think of ways to somehow integrate all the daft stuff that i menna write about before.

Okay so I should start with the circus but i've decided to do that one last of all, you'll see why later. What else is there, Ohh the moon. It's been shining right in my room the last few nights, there's nothing i really wanted to say about it exactly, just that is pretty cool. Pretty AND cool. I was suprised at how bright the light is when i turned off my tv/computer last night. Its lower tonight though than it has been, but it looked ace the other night, i didnt even have to sit up to see it, it was just shining in my window. And a bit before that it had this wierd brown ring around it, probably from all the ICI/factories polloution, it looked really eerie.
Yesterday it proper snowed loads, i woke up and out of the window i could see flakes of it falling down, i wasnt really expecting it to have laid but when i got up properly i seen that it had, it'd been snowing since 10am my mam said, and got up about 11. Then it just snowed all day untill about 5pm when it started raining. What a bastard, i was gutted and proper annoyed. It seemed like the whole of the uk had loads, and we were finally getting some at last. The rain didnt wash it away instantly but today it'd all gone. While it was here though, i manged to get stuck into it a little bit, walking the dog. I gleefully made a tiny snowman, dont know why i'd never thought of making small snowmen before, i even gave him tiny stick arms, but no face. Then i went and hurled snowballs at a tree.
It snowed, again for one day, the other week (and again, dissapeared the next day) which was nice, the first snow of the year, i was annoyed that it was late (e.g, not in time for christmas) but it was so lovely, i didnt really mind, and was just excited to have snow for the first time in aaages. My mam suggested that i make a snow angel, but i thought nahh i'll do one tomorrow, but of course, i didnt get the chance again! Some kids had made a snowman, i was bemused to notice that not only had they given him two stick arms, but also two stick eyes. It was pretty creepy/funny. I think the two best things about snow are the way it falls, just that is so slow, i remember just watching it for ages, falling, a few years back at my grandads house. Imagine if rain fell so slowly, it'd be weird. And the other best thing is that it brightens everything up, white rooftops are so much nicer than dull black slate ones. Anywayy, looks like the snow here is gone untill next year now. I'll miss the snow, but i'll be happy to see summer.

Ok. So money, im having money kerfuffles. In that, i have no money. Nahh. I never have money and i never really usually mind, seeing as i dont exactly have a going-out-every-weekend type of social life. My mam has really been pestering me to sign on though, and I've eventually caved. I wouldnt have, only, im not sure of how it all works, something along the lines of if I do go on the dole, i'll make our house rent cheaper. And i feel proper bad on my mam cause she's always going on about how skint we are recently. I think we finally used up the last of what my grandad left her, so thats why we're uber skint now. Bills to pay and all that, we cant cancell our Virgin (tv/internet) cause they charge you £92 to disconnect which is a fucking outrage like.
Anyway, yeah, all in all, im only doing it for my mam. Seeing as she's brought me up all my life and looked after me and all that sentimental shit, i guess its the least i can do.
If it were upto me i'd stay in my own little hidden away world. It was like, yeah i have no job, but your not paying for me to sit here and do nowt, so you can fuck off hassling me. Know what i mean? I Would like a job, for sure, but i guess im just picky, and i know i cant really afford to be picky, and there's a reccession, blah blah, but whats the point in me going to a job i hate, and then quitting cause its so shit. My dad used to always badger me to get a job at garlands, and i was always just like, no, i know i'll hate it, and i'll be shit in a call centre job anyway.
Its stupid i know, but i just always feel a bit better about myself that i wasnt a dole bum. Even though really it was just cutting off my nose, and everyone was saying "you should go on it!" i didnt want to, i didnt want to be one of them. And i really didnt fancy going to the jobcentre every two weeks to discuss what im doing. I know it's there to help and everything, its a pretty depressing place though! I dunno. So yeah. Here i am, waiting for them to phone me back and send me paperwork so i can get £47.95 a week, or a fortnight, whatever it is.
Im trying to look on the plus side, at least i'll have a bit of money now, i'll be able to spend £5 on a little tub of bodyshopbrazilnut lip butter. And i wont have to go scrounging off my dad everytime i want a night out.
Phew!
So moving on, i was on about crisps before. I seen an advert saying vote for your favourite weird flavour. You know, that walkers thing right. And i thought, ohh can we only vote for one, i want to taste them all. Anyway i never really thought about it anymore, but then i seen in a shop, all 6 flavours are actually out, your supposed to try all of them, and vote for your favourite, D'oh, silly me for not realising. So yeah, i was pleasantly suprised by that. I want to try chocolate chili crisps. I remember having them at school when the teachers brought them in for us all to try. I liked them, i always hoped they'd come back, and now they have. Awooga.

Ok, in other news, out of boredom the other day i decided to research La Tomatina. Its that festival in spain where loads of people line the streets and have a massive tomato throwing fight. I know maybe it doesnt sound that incredible, but if you haven't heard of it, google it and look at the pictures, it looks ace. And even though me and laura have practically vowed to make sure we go to Leeds this year, if the line up turns out to be shit, i will very seriously consider going to Tomatina instead.
Speaking of spain, this kind of leads me onto my next point, the lovely lovely Nadal, *swoon*. I actually got up at 8.45 on a Sunday, just to watch the Australian Open final. It was completely worth it. Honestly though, even though i probably wouldn't have if he wasn't in it, i didn't just get up entirely with the intention of being a fangirl and just eyeballing him.
I have grown to really like tennis, not that i disliked it before, i just didnt really think anything of it. But now i basically understand all the terms, and now when i watch a match i know whats going on, its really good. The closer it got to ending, the faster my heartrate was going, it was pretty tense. He won in the end like which was nice. My heart completely broke for poor Fed though, i really really like him, he's just such a nice guy, and at that point he just looked like a broken man. And he was crying, he fucking cried! Awe! I dont think anyone expected that. It showed you his girlfriend in the crowd, when he broke down doing his speech, and she was really shocked, her hand was over her mouth, like she just couldnt believe it. I was mentally willing her to just get the fuck up and go over and give him a massive hug. Poor bastard.

Okay, anyway, im coming back to the circus thing now, cause it all sort of links in in with Valentines day, and boys.
I think maybe my calling in life is to be an acrobat, or you know, something like that, something circusey. Stockton festival really inspired me. Afterwards i was googling around for circus schools, there's a cool on one London that's based in what used to be a powerstation. Anyway, i forgot about it for a bit (but i still vowed to practise handstanding every day) But then a few weeks ago i got thinking about it again, i went to this little kids circus thing that came here at christmas, it was just for kids really but we went anyway, it was really fun. Thats what sort of sparked me off again i guess, and after that i found this http://www.zipposcircus.co.uk/aca/aca.htm Its this course, it lasts for 6 months througout the summer, and they teach you all these different skills and stuff, and your basically touring the whole time, and learing how to set up the big top and everything. They rent you trailers to live in, or if you have your own campervan or owt you can bring that. It sounds absoloutely wicked. Its expensive though, i think the fee is like £2,600 for the course, thats not including your insurance, trailer rent, money to live off, money to buy extra props and stuff. But imagine how much fun it'd be, just travelling around the country all summer learning how to do circusey things. Definately worth the money i reckon. They say age and ability isn't important either.
I cant stop thinking about it though. Maybe i'll do it next year.

As for this year, well, last year, I came about as close as I've ever got to falling in love at first sight. He was a Belgian acrobat and he was the most beautiful boy i may ever have seen. He was all skinny and he wasnt especially tall. He was just perfect. He had the brightest blue eyes, which stood out loads cause he had dark curly hair. And he had a lovely grin. *dreamy sigh*
Now, i pride myself on being a normal girl, boy wise. I've never stalked anyone, wrote endless love poems about anyone, sent bunches of black roses to anyone, starved myself cause of anyone, took years to get over anyone, never had any problems with Ex's. Nada, nuttin, zilch.
However, when stockton festival packed up and left, taking Belgian boy with it, i just couldn't seem to shake him out of my head. Maybe its just cause he's a bit exotic, you know, being an acrobat and being Belgian and having a hot accent and all. Either way, since then i have been partaking in a bit of internet stalkery with him. Harmless stalkering I'd like to add. Not all the time, not every day. Just the odd time when I've had nothing better to do. Not pouring over the internet for hours on end, not trying to find his email address so i could send him fanatic emails declaring my love for for him, nowt like that. Just the odd google of his name, or a visit the circus group's website. It was all pretty fruitless, seeing as most pages of googling his name were Dutch. But anyway, a few weeks ago, maybe a month ago, i was on Flickr, i think i was looking for photo's of derelict houses and stuff, when i got bored of it. And i thought, hmm, can't hurt to try. So i did. His full name didnt bring anything, but his first name did. On the first page as well. What a stroke of luck. I almost didn't recogise him minus the red spandex outfit. I'll link the picture now. I would post it straight but that would definately be weird. And im pazza that he might find it. I know the chances of that are like 1 in a billion or whatever, and even if he did there's a chance he wouldnt be abele to read it. But still, i know its not going very well, but i am trying to push the fact that im not a crazylady. Anyway, here goes. (yes i did add it to my favourites ok) http://www.flickr.com/photos/stijnvandenbrande/1069910940/
Nice, huh. The comments underneath about him are really sweet as well, i thought.
Woooosh. So there you go, maybe i turned into a bit of a crazylady, but only a little bit.

And its Valentines day today, I should have turned into stalker hardcore mode and found his address and posted him a love note.
Seriously though, valentines day i dunno, im pretty soppy but i can't make my mind up on weather its just a load of corporate bollocks, or weather its sweet and nice. I guess it depends what you do really, giant teddies and boxes of chocolates and roses are all a bit tacky really. Whereas a suprise midnight picnic of waffles and hot chocolate would be much nicer, but a lot much colder, i guess you'd have to have a suprise picnic either in the daytime, or i dunno, in your kitchen or something. Either way, i'll remain undecided (and bitter) about Valentines untill i have a nice one i suppose!

Okay im going to bed now, i mean sleep. That's a lot of rambling, wonder how much i'd get if i was being paid £3 a word...

Backk

Right. Time to dissect the bullet points then eh. I'll get round to it. My eyes feel tired, which is nice, cause i hardly got any sleep last night, i wasn't really tired and just tossed and turned all night. There was a shard of light on my ceiling from next door's kitchen when Billy got up for work at 4am. It kept going on and off. It didn't really distract me too much though, it was nice. Their kitchen is bigger than ours, and from my room and our upstairs passage window there's a good view of it. I sound like a weirdo now don't I, ha. Well anyway, it just looks nice and homely and cosy.
Anyway, less of the tangent. I will get back to the points. It feels really weird doing it like this actually, as if I'm doing homework or something. Maybe i should have jotted them down as the came into my head over a period of however long its been since i wrote a blog last. But onwards and upwards. Lets see, oh ya.

There is a red elastic band on my doorstep again, i noticed it about 2 days ago, and its still there today. I don't mind the red elastic band, but its making me really curious. Its probably just some weird fluke, maybe someone in my street works in an elastic band factory, or maybe the postman doesn't like our house and dumps his postal debris on our front. It'd be cool if it was someone putting it there deliberately though. I don't know why anyone would do that, it sounds a bit silly. But you know how people sometimes have their weird little things. Maybe its one of those. Or maybe I'm talking crap.

Next is the Frightened Rabbit gig kerfuffle. So there i was casually perusing Last.Fm, i was listening to, funnily enough, FR, and the little gig thing at the side caught my attention. Whats that you say? they're doing an acoustic tour? Proper Bo, thinks i, and I very excitedly run off to my pal google. And what do you know, they have a date in Newcastle. REJOICE thinks I. (I'm gonna stop talking like that now, its annoying) Anyway basically i can find stuff easily for the other 4 or 5 dates, but, surprise, there is no info for the gig up here. This is what happened when BSP announced their tour last year as well. We always get the shitty end of the stick, whats the fucking deal. Anyway, a few days later, after some mooching and asking questions, it turns out that they changed the date of the gig, pushed it forward or back a day, i cant remember which. So ok. And the gig is at Castle Keep. A gig in a fucking castle, how great i thought. So another few days and someone posts a link to the tickets. Nice one. Right? No, wait a minute. That's surely not right. £18.45? What the cunting fuck? Almost 20 fucking quid.
Now i know 20 squid for a band you think are fucking ace, in an actual castle, its still a bit pricey, but its in a castle! And also you get into the aftershow at the End bar with a couple of other bands. So you can overlook the price sort of.
But the thing is, the thing that OUTRAGES me, is that ALL the other dates, the price is, £9.00
Yessiree, nine English pounds, Well with the booking fee (another rant i wont get into right now) and all that bumps it up to about 11 squid, which is a very fair price for sure. The other gigs aren't in places like castles (i don't think, anyway, don't hold me to that) But yeah. Why the fuck (I'm so sorry for all the fucking, i will cut down from now on!) is this gig basically double the price of all the others? What a goddamn jip. I thought i would have been able to afford it if it'd been around 11 squid. But £20 is just ridiculous, and definitely out of my price range. Its sold out now anyway, not that i would have gone like, but yeah. So I'm gutted about that.
The other thing is as well though, TSDOLE http://www.blogger.com/www.myspace.com/tsdole are playing a gig with, wait for it, a 27 piece orchestra. In a proper theatre. Have you seen the New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth? Its stunning, its absolutely beautiful. And how much are tickets for that gig?
£4.00. That's right boys and girls, four pounds. For all of that.
My flabber is well and truly ghasted.

Moving onto food anger. I don't know whats wrong with me, maybe theres a really really fat girl trapped inside me, but iv been getting proper angry with food lately. Not at the actual food. Let me fill you in. Oh no, Craig David. HA!
I didn't know what to have for tea the other day, any my mam suggested pancakes. I thought oooh yeah i could go for some pancakes actually, good idea! So there i am, drooling away like peado in a nursery, my eyes probably glazed over, happily swimming in the daydreams of pancakes. So the idea has well and truly sank in, and i am well and truly in the mood for golden syrup and lemon juicy goodness. So i head to the kitchen, and lo, whats in the fridge, but a bottle of lemon juice. That expired about 3 years ago, that has weird brown floaty things in. Crap. We had no other lemon juice. The pancake idea had to be abolished. I was so bummed out. Then i got angry. I didn't explode or owt. But i was proper proper annoyed that i couldn't have any pancakes. I didn't want anything else to eat. I was so angry. I think anger is the feeling i hate the most, its truly horrible being angry. What's up with me! Its just a teatime snack! I was raging though.
Then on Saturday just gone, we went to the fish shop. "what shall we get?" my mam kept asking me. Now i was hungry, but i didn't know what i fancied, and i didn't really care, i was just like, "pff whatever". When my grandad was alive, i think his pet peeve was people not making their minds up. I recall him getting pissy when he asked anyone something, who didn't give him a proper answer. Because he didn't care what the answer was, he just wished they'd make up their mind and just pick something already. And i guess that trait has passed down to my mam. Which isn't good, cause a lot of the time, I'm not really interested in certain things and i just answer with "well whatever/I'm not bothered/its upto you". Like i did in the fish shop. My mam kept suggesting things, then changing her mind. So i thought, good job I'm not bothered about what to get eh. So we finally get to the front of the que, and she orders, along with the chips and curry, "Spam fritter".
I fucking hate spam, i hate it with a fiery passion. And she knows i don't like it. The taste doesn't disgust me, and i can eat it without throwing up. But it is shit isn't it? Its fucking practically bright pink to start with, and has no flavour whatsoever, apart from SALT. Most rubbish excuse for food ever. Spam bloody fritter, i ask you.
So yeah. That was my fault really for being so laid back and not giving a definitive answer. But i was still really really angry. Of all the shit things in the world to be angry over, food should definitely be low on my list, but i dunno. Why am i so angry about food? Its a mystery.

Anyway, onto nicer things. I Went for a bike ride with my mam on Friday, it was sunny and quite a nice day for a bike ride (as a chav hollered at us as we rode past) I used my aunties old bike, its too big for me, even with the seat lowered. I can just about manage though, so it wasn't too bad. We cycled down to Newport bridge and back, which is quite far really. It was nice though, seen some seals and a cormorant in the river. It took two and a half hours, which is longer than it should take to get there, but there was about 20 detours we had to take cause of stupid roadworks all over the damn place, and a trip to asda for a drink, and then traipsing about on the Newport bridge trying to figure out how to get to the other side where the ramp was. (we managed it eventually). So it was nice. But a few hours after being back home, my arse absolutely knacked me. It was like someone had kicked me in the crotch a few times. Terrible stuff. It only lasted a couple of days though, thankfully, because it was hella uncomfortable.
Bike riding is good though, i don't think I'd ridden since i was about 14. I was wobbly at first, and almost rode into a lamppost. Narrowly avoided though. And i didn't fall off or puncture my tires at any point, so i guess it was a success.

Its my mam's birthday on Thursday, and i have No money to get her anything. Though even if i did, she would say she didn't want anything. And i'd end up buying her the shit i always do, earrings, or chocolate, or perfume. So im going to make her a cake. A big, fat, chocolate cake. Yum yum yum. Though maybe i should make a normal sponge with icing, and try to make use of the bottles of food colouring from halloween. Anyway, you can't fall off with cake can you. Should be A-Ok.

Jolly good.

Alreet. I haven't wrote a blog for a while. Every so often i will ponder writing one, but i dunno, i always find something else to be distracted with. So in an effort to motivate me, here is a list of things that I've been thinking about lately, and will come back and talk shit to you about.

  • Red elastic band on my front doorstep
  • Frightened Rabbit gig kerfuffle
  • Food anger
  • Bike riding
  • The Circus
  • Moon
  • Snow, snowmen and lack thereof
  • Money kerfuffle
  • Crisp pleasantness
  • La Tomatina
  • Valentines day
  • Boys
  • Gift pondering (as in, pondering what to get my mam for her birthday this week)

and

  • Getting up at 8.45 on a Sunday morning, just to watch tennis (or more accurately, Nadal)

(bullet points eh, what a good addition)
