I noticed you,

You stood out like a sore thumb, the most Beautiful sore thumb I've ever seen.
(that has nowt to do with this blog, i just love those lyrics they make me feel child like)

But! Onwards and upwards! Post haste! (poste haste?)

Anyway, yes, first blog in 09, i guess thats a reason to make this one really exciting and interesting, but i dont think i can manage that. Also, this is my 50th blog. Wonderful. Pretty rubbish that i have 50 entries isnt it? I keep finding other interesting blogs, and mine is just shit haha, but oh well, i suppose it'll be funny to read in 10 years time eh.

Im hungry, i guess its not good to start a blog hungry cause all i'll be able to concentrate on is eating afterwards. Do i go for yesterdays minestrone soup, or yesterdays carbonara? Hmm. Anyway, seeing as we're on a food-y tangent, i actually have something food related to relate. I had this wierd dream last night that i was in this theatre place to see a band play. I kept getting lost though cause it had loads of rooms and passageways, and by the time i found the stage/band they'd almost finished, except they weren't playing a gig, they were actually in a play. Then a bit later on, in the same place, i found this guy sat at a table, i dont know why but i went over and started talking to him, probably because he had cake and he was saying how his friends had left him, so i said "so you have 2 people, and 3 cakes" and then we started scoffing down these really nice cakes, and then went hunting for more, we knew we werent supposed to because the cakes cost $600 each, why i was dreaming in dollars i have no idea, but they cakes were good, definately worth 600.
The other night i had a dream Jim Carrey rang me on my mobile, i wasnt a friend of his in the dream, and he was still a famous person in the dream, but his name flashed up on my phone when he rang. I dont remember what he said, or what i said, but it was very pleasant and i was smiling. No idea what caused him to be in my dream though, definately a wtf moment when i woke up after that one.

On sunday i went to tesco with my mam and auntie, my mam bought me a large carton of mango juice, it was on offer and was only 54p which is a huge bargain cause the ribena sized cartons are 49p. I fucking love mango juice, i dont know why more people dont talk about it, maybe nobody has really discovered it yet, i think it should definately be sold in most shops like the regular drinks and stuff, its just so delicious, so much better than orange juice. Luckily there's a little asian food store (i think thats even its actual name) just around the corner that sells it, so if i ever get the urge for it, i'll be able to satisfy the craving in about 5 minutes.

Im still hungry, i knew i should have eaten first. Must.stop.thinking.about.food. Its nearly 1am, and i have a job interview today, in just over 12 hours in fact. Im not nervous though, not yet at least, though staying up this late knowing i have an interview probably isnt my smartest move but fuck it. Its for a perfume shop in town so that would be dead nice if i got it. Wish me luck!

Im listening to Edith Piaf, she's absolutely ace. Well she was when she was alive at least heh. She was exactly the same height as me, pretty cool eh. What a legend. Non Je Ne Regrette Rien just came on, what a tune, what a voice! I hate that specsavers have got their grubby little mitts on it!
I want it as my funeral song, its got a good message, it'd be a good way to go out, and its pretty uplifting i think it'd be a good funeral song, though i looked up the lyrics earlier on and i think its more of a wedding-y song really, the last line is really sweet. I really love this music, despite having no idea what its about, she could be singing about killing people for all i know, but its just so i dunno, epic? Its just really interesting, all the sounds going on in it, its got a really good vibe to it, pretty great.

I was listening to The Ronettes yesterday, i just discovered them cause i got the urge to listen to the diry dancing soundtrack. Im generally not a girly girl at all, but that film just drags it out of me, i know every girl bums it, but i quite like that. Boys roll their eyes at it, but the girls love it, wicked film. Anyway yeah i discovered The Ronettes, then i started listening to all these 60's motown girl bands, they were proper amazing, such good music, and incredible powerful soulful voices. And to think how many people think girls aloud are great, they're absoloutely nothing compared to those women. Ahhh.

Anyway enough of that. My other auntie and cousin and my cousins two little boys came down on new years eve, they stayed till sunday which was nice, the kids went home with their dad on saturday though. It was good fun though, we had indian round my auntie who lives here's on friday which was good. Funny family tales were recounted, such as the time, on the way to my nana's funeral in the funeral car, my auntie smiled at my (then) little cousin catherine, who was sitting looking sad and sorry for herself, when she looked back up at her and said "you've got 3 smiles". Meaning her double chin. Hahah my auntie would kill me if she knew i was posting that story on the internet, but oh well. She's not a big fat overweight bastard though, she's an average size i would say, just to clear the chins thing up. So i didnt see much of the kids but they were starting to get quite naughty after the first couple of days so i guess it was a good thing they went early. The littlest boy is soo cute, i just wanted to give him a massive cuddle, he has the biggest eyelashes aww. I hadnt seen him for ages so it was nice, he used to be really shy but he's aright now. Anyway, in conclusion, we didnt see them at christmas so it was sort of like having christmas day again with all the presents and stuff. Pretty fun. New years eve was pretty fun too, we just stayed in and channel hopped between jools holland and them people on the boat on channel 1 and Elton John on 3. My mam was desperately running around trying to locate the party poppers before big ben stopped ringing, she got them just in time. I didnt want to go out on new years but i did feel jealous watching all the people along the Thames watching the fireworks in London.
My mam made me go outside and do the first foot. Apparently its supposed to be done by a tall dark man, but at least i fitted the bill in one area.

Right o, pasta or soup is calling, and i should have been asleep aaaages ago. Cyaa
